ADVISORY DURING DAYS OF UNCERTAINTY

Dear Student,

When any political/nonpolitical organisation calls for a strike/hartal/bandh, please note the following points :

1. Your personal safety and security must be viewed ABOVE college attendance.
2. College will not DECLARE ANY Holiday whenever a bandh call is given.
3. COLLEGE WILL BE OPEN AND TEACHERS WILL COME.
4. If due to any reason , college management declares a holiday, You will know about this through CRs /NOTICE BOARD/GATES CLOSED WHEN YOU COME TO COLLEGE. ..usually before college begins.
5.NO NEWS means NO HOLIDAY.
6. We expect that each student is wise enough to ASSESS the situation on his/her own by carefully following the happenings based on TV/PAPER/Locality developments.
7. Avoid violent situations.
8. If public transport is NOT AVAILABLE,DO NOT COME IN PRIVATE TRANSPORTSTAY BACK AT HOME.
9. Stay in touch with your parents.
10. It is possible that some colleges that are sympathetic to the cause may declare a holiday well in advance...BUT..this will be only for THOSE colleges...and is NOT APPLICABLE to ALL COLLEGES.

So, on Bandh/Hartal days........SAFETY FIRST must be your motto.

Students who are staying away from their parents are also requested to take the advise of their parents before going out of their rooms/hostels.

Please note that this is ONLY AN ADVICE.
